Here’s a growthy thick son of BAR Greeley 735. His dam is a productive daughter of Cole Creek Blackbore. This bull’s mother constantly makes lighter birth weight calves. His paternal granddam transmits some real growth and power to her descendants. She also carries some birthweight though. Use these Greeley 735 and Big Valley 735 son’s as cow bulls and you’ll get along great. You’ll also like the extra punch the calves have.

This bull and his twin brother, #333, had to share the same mother, thus they were a little smaller than average at weaning. The cow did a good job with them though and they have caught up with their contemporaries since being put on feed. Their dam has been a very productive cow for us. She has a son working at MJB Angus in Lodge Grass, Montana.

Good growth type bull here out of a real productive cow. These Big Valley 735 sons will put some power into their calves. Their sire produced our high weaning group of both bull and heifer calves. The bulls averaged 792 lbs at 205 days. This bull’s maternal brother sold to Flying H Ranch in Downey, Idaho through last years bull sale.

This calf has been one of my favorites pretty much since the day he was born. He’s long, straight topped, and heavy muscled. This bull’s dam is perfect uddered and trouble free in every respect. Although he weighed 60 lbs at birth, I’d still classify this one as a cow bull. His sire Big Valley 735 is fine for cows but has some birthweight with all that power.

This bull was our high 205 day weight individual, weighing 876 lbs. He’ll transmit some real power to his calves. I’d like to have a bunch more cows that are identical to his dam. I use the term model angus cow too often probably but she is one of those. She also brings in one of my best bull calves year after year. This bull’s maternal brother sold to Flying H Ranch in Downey, Idaho through last years sale.

Here’s a sleep all night heifer bull that will produce some outstanding daughters to put back in your herd. According to Brad Hoggan, he has calved out over 250 heifers to this bull’s sire, Black Bore 710, without having to touch a calf. He also has 25 Black Bore 710 daughters on his Flying H ranch that are phenotypically perfect mother cows. This bull’s dam is a good uddered daughter of BAR Dark Canyon 09.
